I Don't Understand Where I Went Wrong

I am working on a Grand Unified Theory of necktie knots, but it has proven elusive.

Obviously, I retied it before sallying forth.

  1. There is the opposite problem when you are wearing a tie designed for the New England Ergonomic Man.  Then the skinny end is almost up at the not if the tie is to be down at the belt.  And, up here there are few nice looking long ties, which is why I buy when I am down in the area and near Pentagon City.

Today someone gave me a nice tie that has a pattern of US and RVN campaign ribbons running through it.  He told me it was Viet-nam Veteran Remembrance Day.  I ducked into a corner and changed ties.  But, it was a shorty.  I hope to find the manufacturer makes a long version, but I wasn't going to look a gift horse in the mouth.  I liked the tie.  It said something without making a clown of itself.
