Disagree, for two reasons. (1) Quality and fit of workout clothes is linked to performance in that I run farther and faster when I wear clothes that fit well, don't adjust against my wishes, don't unravel, and don't chafe. Same goes for other sports - my yoga practice is much better served by my not worrying about whether I'm getting a wedgie or my top will shift when I invert a pose. (2) Just like dressing well and feeling attractive affects my work day and my social interactions, the same goes for my motivation and productivity at the gym. The end.
